Free directory · 191 trusts · built from the Charity Commission register
Every grant-making trust registered in Lincolnshire.
There are 191 charitable trusts registered at a Lincolnshire address whose job is to give money away, and between them they paid out about £14.4m in their last filed year. Most Lincolnshire charities have never heard of more than three of them. Here is the whole list, free, with what each one funds and who it helps.
01
The list.
Sorted by how much each trust actually paid out in its last filed accounts, because that is a better guide to whether it is worth your time than how much it holds. Search by anything — a town, a cause, a word in what they do.
Read this before you write to any of them. Being on this list means a trust gives money away. It does not mean it wants to hear from you. A good number only support causes the trustees already know, some have no application process at all, and a few are effectively dormant. Check the register entry, and where there is a website, read it first. A well-aimed application to three trusts beats a mailshot to ninety.

Knowing who has the money is the easy half.
The hard half is the application: making a case that answers the criteria the trustees actually score against, in the word count they set, by the date they set. That is the job I do. A small application is £350, a full one from £750, and a review of something you have already drafted is £150. Registered charities with income under £250,000 pay 20% less.
If you are not sure which of the trusts above is worth approaching, ring me and I will tell you what I think for nothing. I would rather say “none of them, try this national fund instead” than take a fee for an application that was never going to land.
